Seed Oil Safe is an effort to increase transparency in the grocery aisle, by adding a simple catch-all badge to brands going above and beyond in their ingredients sourcing and manufacturing practices.

Our Roadmap to Full Transparency

For our launch, we are playing it safe and partnering with trusted brands who base themselves around transparency and bringing you the best ingredients. 

As we learn about their supply chains and challenges they face, we will build out a list of fully tested suppliers for oil and fats to ensure authenticity. This is in-flight and will be achieved in 2025.

We are also negotiating relationships with a consumer testing laboratory that will help our partners track other contaminants such as pesticide residues, phthalates, heavy metals, mycotoxins and microplastics, to ensure that anything donning the Seed Oil Safe badge can be fully trusted.

We have partners lined up in the cosmetics and cookware space with slightly different guidelines, we’ll be publishing those soon.
